BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Aug. 26, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Barbados Minister of Education and Center for Science and Industry (COSI) honorary Kay McConney voted USA Today’s ‘#1 science museum in the country’ was selected as 10Best has come together to launch a new initiative to provide hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) kits called Learning lunchboxes to inspire young people and families.
The Learning Lunchbox is a fun hands-on kit that offers 5 learning activities that showcase the versatility of STEM. COSI handed out over 400 NASA-themed space kits at the event today. It includes more than 10 hours of his content on space, and plans to distribute 100 more Virgin Hyperloop kits to high school students in the fall. The event provided a fun science experiment for both young people and families in attendance, as well as members of Barbados’ Ministry of Education and community leaders.
