CLEVELAND (WJW) — Just a few hours left to witness the history of the universe. The Great Lakes Science Center invites you to mark this milestone for free at the NASA Glen Visitor Center.

NASA’s Artemis I, “the world’s most powerful rocket,” is the first step to bring astronauts back to the moon. Scientists expect this unmanned flight test to fly farther than any spacecraft made for humans, according to a press release from the Great Lakes Science Center.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, the Science Center has launched a special weekend dedicated to space missions.

Artemis I Free Day:

The Science Center is free to all guests on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

Live Artemis I Launch Broadcast Dates:

On Monday, the Science Center will live stream a NASA TV broadcast of the launch at 6:30 a.m., with the launch scheduled for 8:33 a.m. (subject to change).

Registration on Mondays is free but mandatory and includes pastries, coffee, and admission to the science center for the day.
