NEW YORK (Reuters) – Tommy Hilfiger and Badgley Mischka unveiled their new collections in person at New York Fashion Week for the first time in nearly three years.
“It’s really exciting to come back to real fashion shows and real life. It’s not just Zoom and Facetimes, it’s interacting with people. It’s so much better,” said Mark Badgley of America’s One half of design duo Badgley Mischka.
A recent trip to Morocco inspired the latest collection featuring eveningwear in bold, bright colors found at the Spice Market.

“We stayed there for a while at the beginning of the summer and hooked up to some beautiful sample rooms that serve the collection,” Mishka said.

“We often do neutrals, but for us, evening wear comes alive when it has color,” Badgley said. You will remember the beautiful tangerine dress.
The inspiration for Hilfiger’s more casual look comes from the late artist Andy Warhol.
“When I met him in the ’80s, he inspired me and surrounded my brand and myself with pop culture and pop culture icons. That’s what he did.
Hilfiger unveiled the design of the brand’s new logo at Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In Theater in the rain, with the audience clad in plastic ponchos. The culture star’s runway show was capped off with an exclusive song by drummer Travis Barker.
New York Fashion Week ends Wednesday.
