Tomorrow at noon, the Kentucky Science Center’s Dinosaur Day event will unveil the new name for the World’s Fair Triceratops.

The World’s Fair Triceratops is a 4,800-pound fiberglass statue of Triceratops first exhibited at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City, alongside other life-size dinosaur replicas . The statue toured the country and visited Louisville in 1968.

Triceratops also appeared at the Louisville Zoo, but was moved to the Science Center in May 1979, where it “lived” until 2008, when the Science Center moved it to a storage facility.
