Looking for feedback: On Tuesday, the Tulsa Public Schools Parent Resource Center hosts the district’s annual conference on federal programs such as Title I, Title III Language Services, Title VI Indian Education, and Title IX. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm and interpretation services are available.
College Board Praise: Fifteen Booker T. Washington students received academic recognition from the College Board.
Winners of the National African American Award include Maxwell Freeman, Samuel Freeman, Peyton Guillory, Elodie Musungay, and Chase Vaughan.
Winners of the National Hispanic Recognition Award include Amani Ayala, Hector Garcia, Victor Rodriguez, Marcello Santana-Aubert, Emma Stansell, Xavier Tiemann and Oscar Uy.
Erica Ray-Franks and Maya Vasquez received both the National African American Recognition Award and the National Hispanic Recognition Award.

To be eligible, sophomores and juniors must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, excel on the PSAT/NMSQT, or have a score of 3 or higher on at least two Advanced Placement exams.
FAFSA Fun: TPS will host FAFSA Information Night on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at the Wilson Teaching and Learning Center, with virtual sessions on Thursday via Zoom. The latter requires pre-registration and is available online at tinyurl.com/TPSFAFSA.

Save date: Union Public Schools announced Thursday that its high school graduation ceremony will take place at Union Tuttle Stadium on May 20, 2023. In the event of inclement weather, the school district will hold two indoor ceremonies at the Union Multipurpose Activities Center.

COVID-19 in numbers: Five local school districts and one charter school released their latest COVID-19 case numbers by the close of business on Friday.
As of Friday, Bartlesville Public Schools has reported one infection from an employee and five from a student.
Berryhill reported one case for the entire district. Berryhill Public Schools does not distinguish between students and staff in reporting.
Collinsville Public Schools reported zero cases among staff and students.
Glenpool Public Schools reported one case from an employee and none from a student.
At Skiatook Public School, one case was reported by a student and none by an employee.
The Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences has reported zero infected employees and five infected students.
Tulsa Public Schools did not release an update by the close of business Friday.
Bixby, Broken Arrow, Catoosa, Jenks, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Sperry, and Union have not released updated case numbers at this time.
School Board Calendar: The Tulsa Public Schools, Tulsa Tech, and Woodland Public Schools School Boards are scheduled to meet Monday.
The TPS School Board also has a special meeting scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 pm.
