Announcing the first runway showcase. The eponymous label, designed and led by Stephanie Crowchild, a native of Tuhi Tina, located in the Treaty 7 region near Calgary, Alberta, will bring to audiences around the world at Studio Arte as part of RISE New York Fashion Week (RISE NYFW). presents his 10-point collection. — A dynamic platform designed to highlight the work of talented emerging designers.

Each item unveiled on the runway is inspired by Crowchild’s Aboriginal culture and family, including her Kokum and Chapan (Crowchild’s traditional Cree grandmother and great-grandmother), suggestive. Crafted using upcycled wool fabrics such as the rich HBC Multistripe Point Blanket. It is rooted in Canada’s complex history of Indigenous peoples and settlers.

When he passed away, we discovered a vast collection of Hudson Bay blankets. says Stephanie Crowchild. “In his honor, he inspired me to create my own version as a way to decolonize HBC’s Indigenous past-representative items.
