DapperQ, the “biggest queer fashion” show, is back to kick off New York Fashion Week. Last Thursday, on the opening day of New York Fashion Week, the iconic queer style website dapperQ used eight designers and queer models over the age of 70 to create a “traditional male-female duality. It offered queer alternatives to “chosen shows” (per the press release). Fashion show at the Brooklyn Museum in New York. The show “Bloom,r” is back at the Brooklyn Museum after a two-year hiatus. With over 14,000 tickets sold, it became the largest New York Fashion Week (NYFW) runway event showcasing queer style.
