See some (dead ringer) fashion stars up close on Oculus

There aren’t many days when a stranger can fold Heidi Klum’s arm, snuggle up to Anna Wintour, or stare Kendall Jenner in the eye. But a visitor to her Oculus earlier this month found herself doing it after coming across these celebs and Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio’s fashionable facsimiles of her.

In partnership with the Westfield World Trade Center, the Madame Tussauds wax figure appeared just prior to the start of New York Fashion Week. Winter showed off the 2019 Met Gala Ensemble. Jenner’s look was inspired by her appearance at the 2019 ESPYS. Klum’s outfit came from Project Runway’s 15th season finale, where Ambrosia, welcoming with his arms wide open, beckoned passers-by in a bright red asymmetrical halter dress.
But it wasn’t the couture that caught the attention of Oculus fans, it was the chance to meet and pose with famous fashionistas. At least, the closest they come.
