For over 30 years, Wild West Day has been a fall highlight for local kids and families, and 4 Eagle Lunch is a refreshing fall day with games, food, horse-drawn carriages, face painting, crafts, and more. I look forward to spending time with you.

For the third year in a row, the event had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But this year, the Eagle County Education Foundation is back in full force with dozens of volunteers at his nine public K-12 schools across the county.

The 32nd Annual Wild West Day kicks off on Sunday, September 25th at 4 Eagle Ranch with raffle ticket sales, silent auctions and more.

“Before COVID-19, Wild West Day raised $200,000 each year, splitting much-needed funds evenly among public elementary schools. But this year, we want to regain the traction, camaraderie and fundraising benefits of Wild West Day,” said Tessa Kirchner, Vice President, Education Foundation, Eagle County.

The Eagle County Education Foundation (previously known as the Public Education Foundation) combined efforts to fund all PTA/PTO budgets at local public elementary schools to create a volunteer-run event Did. Local sponsors, businesses, and families are asked to support a single elementary school fundraiser rather than exhausting fundraising resources at each elementary school that hosts a fall fundraiser individually.

The success of Wild West Day enabled parent-led organizations to enrich the learning experience for thousands of Eagle County school children. The PTA/PTO provides funding for the purchase of programming materials, educational meetings, excursions, school supplies, books, art and music supplies, programs, academic enrichment, author visits, and for classroom supplies and special projects. The raffle draw will take place on Wild West Day on Sunday at 4 Eagle Ranch. Ticket purchasers have the chance to win cash, vacations at Vail Resorts and Wishes shopping spree. Buyers do not have to be present on Sunday to win.

The silent auction, which includes donations from hundreds of generous local businesses and community members, will close on Sunday, October 2nd. Items such as gift baskets, clothing, jewelry, and Vail Resorts Epic passes.
