Fashion goes home this week as the world’s top designers kick off their Spring/Summer 2023 collection showcases in the fashion capital of Paris. From today until his October 5th, the fashion big-name sends models down the runway to showcase only the best of what’s perfect for the warmer months.

Here’s what to expect from Paris Fashion Week 2022:

Fashion weeks always have their own way of wowing their loyal followers, but one thing remains constant from year to year. Designers always show up and go out.

This week’s lineup is nothing short of everything a fashion lover could dream of. Expect eye-catching looks from fashion week classics like Balenciaga, Chanel, Valentino, Miu Miu and, of course, Louis Vuitton. There will also be a number of talented but lesser-known designer brands, such as Dice Kayak and Ungaro. Fashion is an ever-evolving industry, and this can be seen in the immense popularity of off-white runways that brought streetwear to high fashion.

This year’s Fashion Week embraces new ways of innovation by diving headfirst into the social media side of fashion, using influencers as marketing tools.

We can expect to see Kim Kardashian sitting front row at the Balenciaga show this week, but the real magic is watching everyone’s favorite social media stars create content at the Paris show Last year we saw Charli D’amelio and Prada, Emma Chamberlain and Louis Vuitton, Wisdom Kaye and Balmain in Paris. Fashion lovers should be naturally excited to see the greats walk this week, with high expectations coming from beauties like the Hadid sisters, Emily Ratajowski, and Ashley Graham, but we’ll keep you up to date on fashion week news. We’re always undecided on what trends to expect this week, but if you’re looking to get ahead of the runway, a look at previous Fashion Weeks is a good place to start.

A perfect example is Milan Fashion Week, which ended today, and luckily we saw some constants on the runway. Leather and monotones remain strong in the fashion industry, and feathers and furs are back in fashion. Miniskirts and dresses were also in vogue, and thick heels were a staple all week long.

All of these trends are likely to carry over to this week’s fashion extravaganza, which should get us all excited.
