VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada, Sept. 19, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — For the first time, the Global Fashion Collective (GFC) will host a runway showcase during Milan Fashion Week (MFW). His GFC x MFW showcase on September 25th will feature four of his international designers from Mexico, South Korea and Canada. GFC aims to shine a spotlight on emerging designers and provide a platform during the world’s most prestigious fashion weeks. The organization has previously presented at New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and Tokyo Fashion Week.
Founded by Alejandro García Villarreal, the CEDIM School of Design has specialized in art, design, innovation and business education in Mexico since 1978. Leesle was created by Korean designer Leesle Hwang. He specializes in reimagining the unique structures, patterns and subtleties of 5,000-year-old traditional clothing such as the Korean hanbok through a neomodern perspective. Hwang has partnered with Samsung Mobile and KIA Motors, has been featured in The New York Times, and has been featured at runway shows around the world. She is a rising star in Korean design and representative of the increasingly popular modern hanbok movement. Faun Studio is a contemporary Calgary-based womenswear brand founded by Marisa P. Clark in 2017. Her designs have been featured at her fashion weeks in New York and Paris, and have been featured at Vanity Fair and Refinery 29. Her one-of-a-kind dress made entirely of her toilet paper won Cure’s voting couture among leading Canadian designers. Her latest collection features luxurious knitwear in natural, earthy tones and features desert-inspired prints. These garments are comfortable and made with a focus on sustainability.
