**Shaheen has secured funding as Senior Budget Enforcer through the Government Funds Bill for FY22**

(Washington DC) – US Senator Jean Shaheen (D-NH), Senior Member of the Senate Appropriations Committeewelcomed a $500,000 grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to Ammonoosuc Community Health Services (ACHS) in Whitefield. The funding will come through a Congressional Directed Disbursement (CDS) request that he secured through his Fiscal Year 2022 (FY) omnibus package passed earlier this year.

The funds will support the renovation of the second floor of ACHS’ Whitefield location. The renovated space expands patient access to substance use disorders, behavioral health, nutrition, and patient navigation services.
