TikTok turns Costco into a fashion magnet

Users on TikTok and other social platforms are sharing their finds at Costco, helping make the warehouse club a bargain fashion destination.

The pandemic has heightened the appeal of casual, comfortable clothing, which Costco has featured prominently on its sales floor.
“Comfort is everything,” California-based shopper Tiffany Weiss told Fashion Blog. refinery29“It’s like a whole new way of thinking.”
The 53-year-old said she “never thought of” buying clothes at Costco before 2020.

As with off-price, part of the appeal is the discovery process and the thrill of winning a deal in an unexpected space.
“Many of the clothes I wear get compliments every day.” J.Ennifer Maldonado, who runs the TikTok account @Cost Cocouture, Said NPR“And I always say it’s from Costco, but I get the same response. Costco? Hey, yeah.”
